Game 103: Cliff Lee isn't so good--wait, that's not Cliff Lee
- Someone wants to stay: Craig Stammen (+25.5%) goes 6.1 IP with 5 Ks, 1 BB and 1 ER.
- Unlikely, but fun: Adam Kennedy (+11.7%) almost botches a sac bunt, but a run scores on the catcher's throw to third that finds no one covering (+9.9%).
- Second half > first half: Nyjer Morgan (+12.0%) is on base three times out of five, with a triple, a walk, and a HBP (and a CS, but what can you do?).

Let me say I was shocked to see Kennedy collect four hits, but am glad he did it.
Why not us? Why not now?

and were back....
I think I was at the last win, 2 Sundays ago…
Tonights game was fun to watch.. How about AK, he will certainly get some more PT now.
And Stammen was great too. We just won 3 out of 4 vs the top 2 teams in the division. Too bad we have to play road games…

That's the start of respectability.
Play .500 plus at home and entertain your fans. Let your division know that you aren’t an easy out. Work on adding young pieces that are controlled and skillful to cement your progress.

Matt Capps just converted his first save as the closer of the Minnesota Twins
I think I can speak for many of us when I still say:
LET’S GO CAPPS!!!!!!!!!!! CAPS LOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looked amped up, too. Hit 96 on the gun for the Twinkies. Hope he and the Twins do well. Always support the small market.

Awesome stuff.
Nothing but love for Capps. Glad he’s in the AL but hope he gets a warm, warm bit of applause next time he’s in Nats Park.
