Two things
- Has anyone heard from Allen (?) Kha (?) this evening? He was going to try to come up for the game and buy a cheapie tik, but they’ve apparently sold out, so I was wondering if he got in…
- Ian Desmond OWNS Joe Blanton!

I believe that trade was more about ...
… solving some rather serious issues with the manager and his lineups and how he has
been managing ballgames of late … ignoring defensive lapses associated with veterans he
favored …
Detwiler vs Rollins, and the crowd is just about evenly split...
OK, it seems disproportionately Philly fans…

8.0 scoreless innings is a higher standard than their normal performance. It’s been more normal to have the Garrett Mock experience. 4 scoreless innings and then things falling apart in the 5th or 6th. Or 7 pretty good innings (not necessarily scoreless) and hanging onto a 3-2 lead and then things falling apart in the 8th.

I was guessing that by the context. Of course, I call him Clip. BTW, they showed a baby picture of him on “Guess that Nat” last night.
Rocking the Red since 1975
Yep, he does. That was a cute baby picture. I must admit I’m a bit prejudiced since 6 days after Clip was born, I gave birth to a baby girl. (A day that was remarkable for being the 10th birthday of Livan Hernandez and former Capital player, Brendan Witt who seems to be at the end of the line.)

Mr. Walkoff missed me by a tiny bit. I called his shot, he went a little to far to the right.

I was sitting here with my parents and I literally said, this kid should hit a walkoff and get it overwith.
I was actually looking at them and barely missed THE SWING. Amazing.
I knew the walkoff was coming, I said as much to the (fairly reasonable) phillies fan in front of me, I just wanted to catch it. Why’d he have to hit the grass instead of the 100 section?

I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and the other case, there's only one case left- Barney Gumble
