VOTE ZIM!!! MLB.com's Bill Ladson: Washington Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman 2nd In Final Vote For 2010 All-Star Game.
MLB.com's Bill Ladson's reporting, in an article entitled, "All-Star attitude has Zimmerman in Final Vote", that Nats' third baseman and '09 All-Star Ryan Zimmerman, "...narrowly trails the Reds' Joey Votto for the NL's final spot," after twenty-four hours of voting...So ask yourself for a moment if Zim (.286/.376/.504) deserves it over Votto (.312/.412/.572) and then go and vote...

I'm voting Votto, and my recommendation is for you guys to do the same.
Zim lost fair and square to Rolen and Wright during the month of June when our season took a turn for the worse. Votto’s done everything he’s been asked to do but is on the outside looking in because Charlie Manuel is loyal to one of “his guys” in Ryan Howard.
I also think that Zimmerman has a decent shot of getting named to the team as a reserve if he’s not elected in the final vote given that Reyes may not be healthy and given Manuel’s flexibility to shift his boy Infante to SS and keep Zim as a third 3B.
Now if Hammer was on that ballot, I’d vote for him over Votto. He’s done everything he’s been asked to do here and exceeded expectations.
It’s the players’ fault. They don’t vote Capps in and they would have had to pick a position player, Willingham or Zim if that spot wasn’t taken. Blame Bud and his “This Time It Counts” and Charlie Manuel’s stupidity, but Votto’s having a better year and his ability to overcome depression and mental health issues and candidly raise those issues only raises my esteem for him.

Sadly...
Because this Game Does Decide Homefield in the World Series the Best Choice is Wagner.
I Agree that Votto is the Most Deserving and Zim is the Easy HomeTown Choice but the NL has Only One Lefty in the Pen. Any Hope of Breaking the Embarrassing 13? Game Losing Streak to the AL Rides on Selecting the Best Roster to Win It…

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

Votto is trying to help the wafflers.
Hit a HR in his first AB tonight. Shame, your name is Charlie Manuel.
