Roy Clark interview with Debbi Taylor was TAPED!

Talking about Solis and Cole as if they haven’t yet been signed.

by John Quinn on Aug 15, 2010 1:07 PM EDT up reply actions

Johnny Holliday is predicting

a complete game for Strasburg today.

Roy Clark is talking about AJ Cole now, apparently Debbi Taylor is from the same town in Florida. Clark says Harper will be moved to the outfield immediately. According to Clark, he’s put on 15 pounds since the season ended.

Clark says Solis can move through the system very quickly, and they’re hoping to sign Ray as well.

He's talking about Solis and Cole in "hopeful" terms,

they didn’t indicate that deals have been completed as of yet… ?

Just a thought re Cole

the rumored amount was so much over the record for a 4th rounder that might have something to do with the holdup. either MLB wants to release this with other first-round over-slot deal sso it gets lost, or they want the team to re-negotiate. in order words, the hold up may not be coming from the player.

Teaching point for Strasburg

Strasburg goes 0-2 to Young, then CB outside, FB inside, slurve outside. Has to come to him, and single to left. Needed to just finish him off instead of playing around with him. Whether that’s command or strategy, something that needs work right now.
