Game 119: 5.5 good innings
- Unlikely hope: Wil Nieves (+19.9%) doubles in a run to give the Nationals the lead in the 6th (+18.3%).
- Hitting the wall: Scott Olsen (-10.9%) cruises through 5, but the wheels come off in the 6th, as he gives up a home run (-14.1%) and a triple (-17.7%) without recording an out.
- Bad to worse: Joel Peralta (-22.9%) comes in to score both inherited runners and one of his own, giving up a double to tie the game (-17.0%) and then another to go behind (-11.8%).

I haven't seen a graph that steady for the first half in a while.
Wow

Sunshine will come to Nats Park, I promise. (visit por favor? my website)
A good pitching duel always looks like that.
Not that the Nats have been in a good pitching duel in a while…

Who's going to be the starting LF if Willingham goes on the DL?
Not Kevin Mench, I hope.

The Washington Nationals, the team of the 2010s!
Harris, maybe?
Regular playing time might shake Mr. Freeze off his twig, and he’s had a talent for the spectacular catch over there in the past.

Hopefully...
I think a Harris, Morgan, Bernadina outfield sounds alright ….. sorry but J-Max and Morse just havn’t shown me anything spectacular….

Wow
I certainly don’t think “Quest for Contact” Maxwell has done anything spectacularly good, but against a lefty it’s hard for me not to start Morse over Harris with Harris a possible late inning replacement. Morse has been up or down at various times this year, but Harris (except against the Mets) has just been awful.
Morse was hot, now he's slumping.
I think it’s important to find out what we’ve got in Morse just like it’s important we find out what we’ve got in Morgan and Bernadina. Harris is not part of our future. He’s getting older and he’s been unproductive.
Bernadina, Morgan, and Morse for me.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
they could probably put Morse over there
and Maxwell/Nyjer CF and move Bernie to RF

I think Mench got hurt too, no idea as to extent, but he hurt hand in his last AB and left afterwards...
The Braves announcers saw it, don’t know if MASN guys noted…
Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

I don't think they mentioned it on MASN not surprising though
considering Carpenter was still saying that Pudge clearly missed the ball in like the 3rd inning

Are we there yet?
Gosh i hope we drafted some decent relievers of the future…
As for Olsen – kinda expected he would hit a wall around 6-7 innings, given he is still coming back from injury. But he’s a decent pitcher when he is on.
Ian Desmond is my hero!
Usually I assume Pudge is responsible for Olsen's success...
But he lost his catcher and was still sharp for 5.0….
