Big pitcher contracts are the biggest risk ever

moreso than hitters. So much more injury risk and attrition attached than with hitters.

Signing the elite hitting and drafting the pitching sounds like the best strategy IMO.

I was looking at Morse's defensive stats for fun on fangraphs...

I know its a small sample and all, but in 06 with the Mariners he had a -135.5 UZR/150. LOL

  In the minors … where he will be more useful to the young pitchers … plus he does know some catching for the young catchers.
