Game 130: Radison's Revenge
- Ugly, but not unbearable: Livan Hernandez (-21.4%) gives up 5 ER in 6.1 IP, but it's enough to win and saves the bullpen a little.
- Resurgent: Adam Dunn (+49.9%) is 2-3 with a two-run double for the lead in the 3rd (+20.8%) and a three-run dinger to go ahead again in the 5th (+30.2%).
- Also hitting:
MikeMIchael Morse (+11.4%) is 4-4 with two doubles. - Interference: Ian Desmond (-10.8) is 0-5 with 3 LOB, including a dubious batter interference call on a what should have been a run-scoring sac bunt/ROE (-6.4%).

Friend of Dukes and Desmond #3
it was date night toinght for the Nats News Network team
and as such, we sat in the first row behind the Nats dugout. let me tell you, the conversations between the first base ump and Misters Radison and Olsen were certainly NSFW.
couldn’t tell if Desmond was in/out of baseline, and it doens’t look like there’s a rebroadcast.
but the Morgan thing was just plain stupid. first, he specifically runs into the catcher, even thought the catcher is nowhere near the plate, then he misses home plate, then Pudge (veteran leadership) makes contact with him, making him out.
i know the Nats won by 9 runs, but it’s stupid play like that that will affect Morgan’s future employment here. also, on at least two seperate occasions, upon exiting the field, he got to the top step of the dugout and slammed his glove into the dugout. gotta think that type of display is getting old too.

+1, +2 and +3...Olsen getting himself tossed from the bench is great...
Desmond was out if you follow the rules. Morgan = No Baseball IQ, no reason for contact with catcher. I said in game thread he can’t catch a break, but didn’t mean on field, where his mistakes are his own, but just in a personal way, he can’t do anything right. I think his current spot in the batting order and his impending disciplinary hearing would force him to change his ways, doesn’t look like it…

I just saw the Morgan play...
WTF was Morgan doing?!? he looked like he wasn’t concerned with homeplate whatsoever and simply and intently ran into the catcher, giving him an extra shove as he went by. what a dope.
