Let's hope. Let's also hope that Marquis has found his "magic" once again and gives
the Nats a chance to win. Maybe they won’t notice they’re in Florida after all the beating up they did on good Cardinals pitching. If they can beat the Cards 3 out of 4, do you think they can win a couple against the Fish? I know I’m tired of watching the Nats get owned by the Fish and I haven’t been watching them that long! It’s like watching the Cubs play the Pirates. Ewwww!

I think Nyjer came across OK in the piece. Whether Albert fake pumped a throw is another matter……perception is reality.
He saves some runs in the outfield, I will give him that.
He just needs a good bench coach to show him the way.

I would love to go to a game like that. Sit anywhere, no lines for beer and have any thing you call out to the field be on TV. Great fun.
I went to Florida last year and went to a game...
It was actually a little depressing. The orange of those seats were so bright in the afternoon sun. We started out in RF in hopes of a HR but none ever came so we finished the game right behind 3B.

Question for ya Nats fans...
At the beginning of the season I saw where the Nationals added that Alternate Blue jersey. Have they been worn this year? The only jerseys I’ve seen are the white home, red alt. and grey away…

That’s a little bizarre. I kinda figured they wore them on the 4th because the DC logo is also star-spangled. I thought they would be used as a road alt.

Those are just the 4th of July hats though.
Just like the last couple of years when teams wore all red with stars and stripes or blue with stars and stripes.
But speaking of hats I think the Nats should wear red hats on the road and not blue. Just because the socks are red.
"If I was being paid thirty-thousand dollars a year, the very least I could do was hit .400." - Ted Williams
Blue Unis
Nats only wear blue uniforms for military nights and holidays. Home whites with block letters are the only uniform to remain the same for all 6 seasons. They’ve worn the reds for the weekend home series (all three games instead of just Sundays). Greys are away.

Hey! During the Scott Olsen stinker, I was struck DOWN by the worst case of vertigo...
I’ve had in about 4 years. I’m finally sort of upright today.
But I followed along all weekend from the bed but couldn’t stand up without yakking. Not a bit of fun…but I was super glad the Nats took 3 from the Cardinals and mind freak LaRussa!

Can influence fly ball/grounder...
…but whether the grounder finds a glove, not so much. I’ve heard talk that some pitchers may be able to repeatably induce weak grounders, which are more likely to be caught (Mariano RIvera was held up as an example, although his skill is extraordinary enough that he’s not much use to illustrate a general trend).

I better fix that within 2 weeks. Back to work on Sept. 14
Glad to hear you're getting sleep...whenever.
The first few days back at work will probably be tough anyway. But it will correct soon after, I bet.
