Somebody uses The Message from Grandmaster Flash. (unless that’s being sampled by some other musical artist)
it's a sample in Check Yo Self.

Hmmm, I don’t remember Craig ever using any of those three, but maybe I missed it. He warms up to “Hicktown” by James Aldean now (and last year). Last year his batting song was “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns ‘N Roses. Don’t recall his batting song this year.

For the last few games, he’s been using “When the Levee Breaks” by Led Zeppelin. The crowd has loved it.

Morse
He uses a few. “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” by Smashing Pumpkins and “Take On Me” by A-Ha have been his go to songs.
Eternal Opimist married to "Mr. Gloom and Doom."
Burnett
At the beginning of season, he used “Shout It Out Loud” by KISS.

Willingham
Josh also threw “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd in to the mix as a tribute to his home and family.

Thanks, Mrs. Nichols.

Peralta
He used Rock You like a Hurricane by the Scorpions when he first came up, but now uses that Bubba Sparxx song Pudge used.
Peralta is still using Scorpions too
At least he did on Friday night – our 9 year old friend Jimmy was playing air guitar to it so I remember it vividly. LOL.

What was the old school hip hop song Morse had played twice yesterday?
Source tells me its....
Jam On It by Newcleus AND Boogie Down Bronx by Man Parrish.

Wil Nieves' Song
BTW, Charlie and Dave started dancing in the booth around this time two years ago. After hearing them talk about how much that would miss his song in the off-season, I used my little point and shoot and got this video from sitting in the 200 seats across the park one of the last games of the 2008 season. Still makes me laugh. It made them laugh too.

I know "Don't Fear the Reaper" is in there.

Some of these are pretty good
Some are just weird. I doubt that Bernie would take too well to FBB. I could be wrong. Sun Ra at a baseball game?

Willie Harris has been trying to curry favor from the fans with throwback at bat music.
In recent games he’s used “Kiss” by Prince and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” by the Temptations.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
Them's fighting words. ;-)
If you’re trying to be the people’s champ from DC, charting Prince songs aren’t that bad a move. I was down on a lot of Prince stuff for awhile. Values, image, and ego can be turnoffs. But the man has serious skills and puts out a killer live show.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
I don't have any problems with his image, values or ego
I just dislike his music. He’s got skillz, I just don’t like his music. :)

Believe Bernadina's alternate at-bat music is O.M.G by Usher.

Homer song for the nats...
...“Bustin’ Loose” by Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers. Around :40 could be the part of the hook that they borrow for it.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
It's a lousy choice, IMO
Better: Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz. I know it’s been done by some other teams, but it’s just a cooler song.
Rob
"Ninety feet between home plate and first base may be the closest man has ever come to perfection." -- Red Smith
Also fightin' words.
Chuck Brown is a DC institution. That’s a classic DC song. No, it’s not the coolest song, but it’s a DC song and it’s ours. And that say a lot to some of the humble DC taxpayers that made that stadium possible.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
Ummm. OK.
Didn’t know that. Still, if it’s GOT to be a DC band, you’ve got to think there’s better than this available.

Chuck Brown is the musical equivalent of Ben's Chili Bowl in Nats Park for those who know DC.

Hmmmm. I have a dirty little secret
Ben’s Chili Bowl is not very good.
Rob

Burn the heretic!
Okay, I usually go to Five Guys when I eat at the park, but still…
"And everybody lived happily ever after. Except the Phillies and the Mets. The End." --Sasskuash
Friend of Dukes and Desmond #3
Hmmmmmmmmmm. I have another dirty little secret.
Five Guys ain’t all that great either.
But what does either of those dirty little secrets have to do with music?
Perhaps I shouldn't get into these battles
I would, after all, be quite offended if someone came down to Austin and started to insult Stevie Ray Vaughn, Janis Joplin, and Chuy’s (all Austin institutions)
Rob
"Ninety feet between home plate and first base may be the closest man has ever come to perfection." -- Red Smith
Probably agreed. I don't really go there.
I’m not totally sure why they’ve extended their brand in those kind of directions. The main Ben’s on U St. is a DC institution and it’s a good thing that Ben’s has some visibility at the park. Ditto Go-go Chuck.
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park. In Rizzo and Ramos we trust.
+1 Chuck Brown is a DC institution
Ever since 2005 opening day at RFK I’ve thought he should be a regular part of the stadium scene

Of course, Zim seems to have changed all of his at bat music now, too. “DC Chillin’” by Wale is gone as is that slow song that everybody seemed to be bothered by. Not sure what he’s got now.

Kevin Mench came up to a Foo Fighters song last night
don’t know the name but I recall remarking to myself that thats would probably be the best part of his at bat. Then he got just the Nats 3rd hit of the evening…

Hilarious and worthy of my rec sir. I am now campaign Mench for the Bench. Like
Willie Harris, we should begin some kind of campaign if he returns to the roster
and is not quickly held accountable for performance.
Plus he has the most damning thing against him all: He is a worse defensive and
offensive outfielder than BOOMER WHITING, and yet he occupies a place on our
roster. It’s like we use a spot on the roster for some kind of Veteran Achievement
Award at Syracuse and give a less than deserving a dude a cup of coffee for it.

Don't know what happened to this thread.
With all of the prospects, there’s certainly room for some updates. Haven’t really been paying too much attention on the days I’ve been to the park, but you can add Candy by Cameo to Willie Harris’ list.
The wait for 10/7 begins. This man is focused. Are you?
I know somebody uses Pretender by the Foo Fighters.
Here’s the video and I think it’s Jason Marquis.
