You might want to mute the sound when watching the video. The Marlins announcing crew is so homeriffic it almost make me puke. Kudos to Listach for jumping on Volstad, because the Marlins jumped all over Morgan. The clothesline from Tracy (I think it was Tracy) should’ve been enough, but Volstad had to mount him to make matters worse.

Also, if the Marlins didn’t like Morgan stealing second and third in a blowout ballgame, here’s a thought: CATCH HIM STEALING. I want to fight someone now, thank goodness no one around here wears Florida Marlins gear, because it will save me getting my butt kicked. :P

Also, the Marlins’ group thinking that it’s dirty baseball to play hard in the fourth inning…what’s that about? Since he showed them up by having the bad taste to steal bases after they hit him with a pitch…well…we’re just gonna have to hit him again.

Yes.

And that plunking helped settle the fight. Sanchez’ clothesline was dirty. The Nats retaliated, and that helped settle some of the lingering after affects. Now if Morgan plays again when the Marlins come to DC there will be a lot of eyes watching.

Watching that video, I was wondering what they were complaining about. The Nationals were down 15-5. How could anyone complain about a player stealing 2nd and 3rd when that player’s team is down by 10? Makes the Marlins look like whiners. He should have just stood at first and not try to add runs so that the team can try to come back to win. It’s just in bad taste…
