I have a new post (title has link) up which uses K/9, BB/9 and GB/FB using 2011 projections to calculate the closest comparable for each NL pitcher. Using the rotation of L.Hernandez, J.Lannan, J.Marquis, J.Zimmerman, T.Gorzelanny the five comparable NL pitchers were. L.Hernandez = J.Garland (LAN) J.Lannan = P.Maholm (PIT) J.Marquis = J.Lannan (lol) J.Zimmerman = W.Rodriguez (HOU) T.Gorzelanny = H.Bailey (CIN) Would be interesting to see who Strasburgh compared closest with had he been healthy. A few pitchers like Halladay, Lee and even J.Garcia didn't have any worthwhile comparables due to being outliers in more than one category.
