Tough break
I really feel bad for the team. I mean, they’ve had it so bad recently and then this has to go and happen to them. Pity the poor Astros.

Sure, go feel all sorry for the Astros.. but back here the Nats are now left without any young infielders who have experience playing the outfield poorly. Maybe Lombo can take over that job?
Mark my words
Bixler will be the reason for an Astros win against the Nats next year….
(the mocking of the Astros and of Bixler is a bad karma thing!)

Please let him pinch-run.
Please let him pinch-run. Please oh please oh PLEASE let him pinch run!

Heh....AND... get many ABs and...

I, for one, just did a little happy dance when i read that the Astros had claimed Robo-Bix!

I wonder if they would trade anybody for him
Maybe they would move JB shuck if we offer somthing else? They need money right?
Just Wondering.......
Will we get a charity pick in the draft for losing him? lol

Ha
i started a facetious NNNOOOOO in my office as soon as I heard too
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion man
And another fan base gets to expand its vocabulary
Bixler (BIX-lr) (1) n. fast, gritty, versatile, ultimately talentless utility player. (2) v. to get picked off first after entering the game as a pinch-runner; syn: SEE “Nyjered” (alt) to make a spectacular play after badly misjudging it initially. “He really Bixlered that ball in left field.”
Brain: "Pinky, are you pondering what i'm pondering?"
Pinky: "Yes, ... wait, ... no, ... never mind"
You won't have Brian Bixler to kick around anymore...
Slaten anyone? Here’s a thought: perhaps the Astros could use a hitting coach as well. We sure could.

Could the Astros use a lefty reliver to help them get the #1 pick
becuase we have someone who could help
MOAR SEVERINO!
I actually grew to kinda like Bixler
Talentless or not, he always seemed to find a way to help the team.

Shrug.
I see this opinion offered often, but it doesn’t really bother me much either way. At what point does a “FanShot” get too meaty? Who knows? All I know is that since the unread comments for shots don’t appear in bold black, I often miss interesting discussions for too long (until everyone has moved on to other things).

I'll admit I don't understand the point of the distinction between fanposts and fanshots
For now, I’ll content my self with the knowledge that the community is pretty laid back here and doesn’t obsess over those little things.
