Washington Nationals: Luis Atilano Clears Waivers, Outrighted To Syracuse.
25-year-old right-hander Luis Atilano, who was designated for assignment last week to make room on the roster for 1B Adam LaRoche, has cleared waivers this afternoon and has been outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse. The one-time Atlanta Braves' 1st Round pick has been invited to Spring Training with the Nats.
