Strasburg and Harper as teammates
If Stephen Strasburg follows Jordan Zimmermann's rehab schedule from last year, he'll be making a few starts in Potomac, Harrisburg, and Syracuse late this summer. Depending on where Harper is (possibly about to be called up), the two are bound to be teammates along the way, possibly with multiple teams. Pretty cool story, you know ESPN is going to eat it up. Who knows, maybe LeBryce gets called up the same day Strasburg makes his first start back in the majors. Tickets for that would certainly cost time tens more than any World Series ticket.

There will be zoo-like conditions wherever Harper plays (for a while anyway)
and there will be zoo-like conditions wherever Strasburg does his rehab. If they play together, it could be “the perfect zoo.”

Looking forward to them playing together in Natstown
Daydreaming, really. A rotation of Strasburg, Zimmermann, Detwiler, Cole & Solis! An outfield of Werth, Harper, and (Eury Perez? Corey Brown? … Mike Morse?)! An infield of Zimmerman, Desmond, Espinosa, and (Chris Marrerro? Tyler Moore? Some Free Agent?)! And Norris/Ramos/Flores behind the plate!
And we got in on the ground floor. Well, the basement really :-)
Poor John Lannan. Always wished away in these kinds of pitching lists. Don’t forget Robbie Ray in the pitching list as well. Like Cole, he’s a high upside bonus baby.

I know - and part of it is aesthetics. Even when he's "on," Lannan is hard to watch sometimes
I’ve defended Lannan a lot, and think that he could do all right for them this year. But IMHO we’re looking at his ceiling – he’s a guy that on a decent team could have about a .500 record as the #4 or #5 starter. He’s kind of a placeholder to see whether any of the higher-upside guys makes the move.
I wouldn't say "Poor John Lannan"
He has benefited immensely in his career by being in the right place at the right time. It’s why he was appointed an official ODS on a Major League baseball club, contrary to all ordinary standards.
