Maybe...Hopefully...OK unrealistically
Picture this, the D-Backs are having a terrible year next year due to their awful pitching and strike-out prone offense. As a result of this they start shopping Justin Upton at the deadline to get some good parts for the future. The Nats swoop down and swipe Upton for a package of Tyler Moore, Stephen Lombardozi, Brad Peacock, Cole Kimball, Nyjer Morgan, and Yunesky Maya. There could possibly be more added along the lines of guys like Marrero or Hood.

Trading away Kimball is a bad idea.
I honestly don’t see the great attraction to Upton anyway. He’s good, but definitely not great.

Rosterbation!
Gotta love it. Quality not quality is what makes these deals go. Kimball plus another guy is probably ample if you want to make this deal go. Is Upton really an elite centerfielder? I’d hate to picking up his more expensive arbitration years when he hasn’t cemented his reputation (kind of like the Austin Kearns debacle).

Arizona would riot! Upton, I really really doubt it.
