I'd like the full history on "The Shark" nickname somewhere on this website

Until then, I will feel cheated.

According to Wikipedia.....

“Roger Bernadina is nicknamed “The Shark” due to the way he hunts down balls in the outfield like a shark going after its prey. Dedicated fans occasionally wear shark costumes to games."

Of course, Wikipedia is about as good of a resource as a blog, but I figured I would post it anyway. As for the “Shark Costumes”, I have NEVER seen a Shark costume EVER at Nats Park. Maybe I am just blind.

I guess I should have said “FBB” for Federal Baseball, since FB is usually used for the infamous Facebook.

One Thing That IS Needed More.....

Fan interaction. The Shark and Donkey constumes are great……the guy who holds up the rubber chicken (even though I don’t know what that is all about)…..etc. We are slowly getting there, but I can’t wait to see Nats Park rocking on a regular basis, which I think WILL happen when the team starts winning.

I will be rocking a Shark sign for all the nats games I go to this season.

Considering I only got to go to 3 last year cause I live in Philly. 2 at Nats park and 1 at Citizens Bank. I will be going to at least 10 at Nats Park this season.

Roger Bernadina For LF!

Rather impressive

Only problem with Bernadina is you’re not always completely sure where to get your seats. Is he playing LF, CF, or RF when you come? Hope to see you at the park sometime.
