And a walk
hasn’t managed a RBI yet, though

Rapid-post FAIL.
Mistakes were made. Thanks for the corrections, Patrick.

To be fair, Desmond hasn't gotten on base.
He did have a couple opportunities, but not enough to warrant an “ahhhh”

Gotta get your facts right around here. Or the group editors will take you back to the woodshed.

Missed the game
Why was Burnett summoned for the save? Was it mostly based on matchups or is he the primary closer now? Thanks.
vr, Xei
He's the closer for now, as Storen is looking a little shaky.
When/if Storen settles in a bit I think they’ll trade off setting up each other and closing, with Storen still as the long-term vision for closer.

From Riggleman's Postgame:
“I could have gone either way with it (Storen or Burnett) but here early on, if the opportunity presents itself I want to have Burnett available for the 9th…”

I was right behind Nats dugout, and Rigglemann's jaw was torqued when he hooked those two
He was determined to win this game – but more’n that, he was pissed. Ask me, Slaten and Storen are on thin ice w/this club.

I think that will also depend on how Syracuse opens up and how quickly Rodriguez can come off the DL.

H00R4Y! is not a real word. Just sayin’. Look it up in your dictionary and I’ll bet you a bunch you’ll come up emptyhanded.

Cool Hand is greatly appreciative of the respect with the 2 spot and the lack of pressure from Opening Day.
