Game 31: Glad I missed this one.
- All kinds of disastrous: John Lannan (-30.0%) can't get an out in the 3rd inning, giving up 6 ER--starting with a 2-run HR to the second batter of the inning (-17.7%).
- Veteran presence: Adam LaRoche (+6.3%) is 2-4 with a double, while Alex Cora (+5.0%) is 2-4 with a SB.
- They needed work anyway: Henry Rodriguez (+0.8%) gets 3 Ks and 1 BB in 2 IP, combining with the rest of the bullpen to go 6 innings with 1 ER.

The drudgery of work, apparently, saved me from the pain of ..........this...
…man, remember when the Nats were dismantling the Giants?

Is it time to PANIC yet!?!..........

Well, it's certainly time to find a sub for Lannan during the next Philly meeting.
Panic? Beaten into submission or bludgeoned into a stupor is more like it unfortunately.

At least there won't be many mean (or nice) fans at the park.
And we get to hear Carpenter whine about the stadium again and FP will egg him on, which I think is funny.
Let's look at the bright side, and it's considerable
Zimmermann pitched great in his only start at Sun Life last year. Fish hit only .056. In contrast, Nats hit .366 against Nolasco last year in Florida (this is the cup-half-full POV – I’m not going to go into the negatives we could also look at!).
GO NATS!
Tough decision to make
I have Nolasco on my fantasy team. Any time a decent pitcher faces the Nats these days, you know they’re gonna put up a gem. But it’s against the Nats…
Do I start him or not?

Heck yes you start him. You can't lose.
If he kicks butt as expected, you do well in fantasy.
If by starting him you jinx him, then the Nats could win.
Win-Win
Heck no you don't start him. You can't win.
If he kicks butt as expected, the Nats lose.
If by starting him he does well, then the Nats could lose.
Lose-Lose.
