It's time to face reality-- Desmond and werth negatively impact the team. Trade Desmond, move Espinosa to shortstop (his natural position) and call up lomborozzi from Syracuse to play second. Since we can't unload werth due to his contract, platoon him until he shows he can do something other than strikeout, hit into double plays and stop leaving base runners to whither away. And while they are at it, dump ANKIEL who sucks big time!
