  • Fooling no one: Livan Hernandez (-23.5%) tries Davey's patience, getting pulled after only 4 IP with 5 Ks, 3 BBs and 4 ER.
  • Offensive outburst: Danny Espinosa (+7.0%) is the batting WPA leader for the Nats tonight, going 0-2 with a pair of walks.  Also, Laynce Nix (+1.4%) hits a solo shot for the Nats' lone first run (+9.6%).
  • I don't want no scrubs: Alex Cora (-20.8%) and Jerry Hairston (-2.9%) make the most of their simultaneous starts, going a collective 1-9 with 5 LOB, a strikeout, an error, and a rally-crushing GDP in the 7th (-15.0%).
  • Also looking lost: Jesus Flores (-12.3%) is 0-4 with 5 LOB, although he did catch HanRam [spits] stealing (+2.1%).
  • Rally time: The 4-run rally in the 9th, while dramatic, happened mostly with two outs and barely got the WE above 4% before Nix flew out, so no WPA for you.

(Tip of the Nats cap to cat daddy3000 in the game thread for the title).
