Ankiel has looked so bad against lefties lately, just lunging pathetically at sliders on the outside corner. How about giving Bixler a few starts?

preliminary results look good

Bixler is 3 for 9 this week, and his average is up 19 points.

And even if you don’t like Bixler, you can’t enjoy watching Ankiel flail at lefties.
