MLB.com's Bill Ladson just reported on the Twitter that Stephen Strasburg will replace Livan Hernandez in the Washington Nationals' rotation after the veteran right-hander's last start of the season on Sunday against the New York Mets. @washingnats: "#Nats RHP Livan Hernandez will start his last game of the season on Sunday. Livo will become a mentor/coach the rest of the way. @washingnats: "#Nats RHP Livan Hernandez will not pitch out of the bulllpen the rest of the year. He will do some pinch hitting." Earlier this week, Hernandez told reporters he'd spoken to the Nats about returning in a bullpen role next season. No word from the Nats on whether they'll bring the 36-year-old right-hander back.
