Stay connected for news and updates

Just a quick update on some of the roster moves the Washington Nationals announced this afternoon to make room for their September call-ups.

via @NationalsPR

• #Nationals return from rehab and reinstate RHP Stephen Strasburg from the 60-Day DL. Strasburg is scheduled to start tonight’s game.

• #Nationals recall RHP Yunesky Maya, RHP Craig Stammen, LHP Atahualpa Severino and OF Corey Brown from Triple-A Syracuse

• #Nationals select RHP Brad Peacock and INF Steve Lombardozzi from Syracuse.

• #Nationals transfered RHP Cole Kimball to 60-Day DL, unconditionally released RHP Adam Carr & designated RHP Garrett Mock for assignment.

Mock fans like myself will have to wait and see what happens to the right-hander acquired along with LHP Matt Chico in an '06 trade that sent Livan Hernandez to Arizona. Peacock might be pitching tonight if the Nats play and don't want to take any chances with Strasburg. LET SEVERINO PITCH!! That's all for now.
