The last time 23-year-old Nats' right-hander Stephen Strasburg faced the Marlins they were from Florida and the Washington Nationals' starter struck out ten of their batters in six scoreless innings over which he allowed just two walks and one hit. The '09 no.1 overall pick takes on the re-christened Miami Marlins tonight in his second Grapefruit League start of the year. The first time out this Spring, Strasburg threw 44 pitches, giving up three hits, a home run and two earned runs in 2.2 IP against the Astros. Tonight, like the other Nats' starters in their second ST starts, Strasburg will likely throw around 60 pitches. It's Friday night, it's Stephen Strasburg! What else could you possibly be doing? Here's the lineup that will take the field behind Strasburg tonight in Jupiter, Florida's Roger Dean Stadium:
- Ian Desmond - SS
- Steve Lombardozzi - 2B
- Jason Michaels - LF
- Tyler Moore - 1B
- Anthony Rendon - 3B
- Jesus Flores - C
- Rick Ankiel - DH
- Brett Carroll - RF
