May 19th, update. It is amazing to me that with the Nationals continued offensive woes that the this issue is not brought up by the media more. I've watched every single Davey Johnson post game presser for the last two weeks and not one reporter has asked him about making a switch to the more productive 2basemen in Lombardozzi. At this point the numbers are so glaringly in favor of Lombardozzi that I would simply like to hear Davey Johnson answer a few questions.
One, Why is Lombardozzi not already starting at 2base?
Two, What more needs to happen for Lombardozzi to start at 2base? Does he need to be batting 400 instead of 333, and Espinosa 100 instead of 200?
If someone could just ask Davey or Rizzo these questions I think a lot of us #putlomboinlineup fans would at least understand what is going on here.
My question remains to you fellow fans. Who would you start at 2nd base at this point?
