This was the most deflating loss ever. No team in franchise history has blown a lead this big and lost (as pointed out by MissB in the gamethread). Forgetting the game won't be easy, but having a laugh right now is essential to my sanity. I discovered a nice collection of Al Bundy/Married With Children .GIFs to help me get through this.

Bundy was doing his best Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart impersonation. The Braves scored 4 in the 6th, but we weren't worried, the reaction:

Stupid Braves thinking thay have a chance in this game. We were LOL'ing. Then came the reaction in the 8th:

Our biggest fears were coming true! The Braves were a run away heading into the Ninth and well, you know:

The unflappable (not counting this week) Tyler Clippard blows another! Hope was restored when Espinosa hit a game-tying dinger:

Tempered enthusiasm, because the game was not over, there was business to be taken care of in extras. Made it through a breezy 10th, but the result of Top 11:

Just saying a few words to the big guy upstairs, to no avail. But hey, Espinosa hit a grounder to keep things alive in the bottom half... wait... Uggla?
