Greetings, Nationals fans!

We heave a new feature on Viva El Birdos (the Cardinals' blog) this year where we occasionally invite other blogs to join us for a joint game-thread, and we'd like you to come on over for our game together on Thursday, August 30th.

Last season, many of us really enjoyed the occasional cross-talk that occurred with members of other teams' blogs. We found it to be informative on a number of levels, and appreciated hearing other perspectives, while sharing our own. This year, we’ve decided to make this a semi-regular organized feature of our blog. We're especially excited to chat with you all given our collective clown crush on some of your players.

There will be a separate gamethread in the VEB fanpost section just for this communal purpose, and it will be a neutral environment. In other words, you'll have the same rights that we do. We won't troll you; don't troll us. But challenging questions are fine, and we definitely appreciate humor of all sorts. Theoretically, this thread is about discussion rather than rooting for in-game events, but we understand the irrepressible urge and are not immune to it ourselves.

If you are interested, please join our website soon as there is a 3-day waiting period before you can post. Also, please familiarize yourself with the VEB community guidelines here. We tend to be a very relaxed group.
