Hi guys! I am new to this site and really, new to baseball fandom. My in-laws got me into the Nats about 3 years ago, where as before that I didn't really care about baseball one way or the other. You see I come from a town that only had a AAA team, the Norfolk Tides. Most people from there are Mets fans because they were the affiliate forever. I however could not be bothered to care about anything that wasn't my beloved Redskins. Anywho, I am a baseball fan now and proudly display my Natitude! I now live in the DMV (Maryland for now, but hopefully DC soon!) and went to several games last year including game 4 where Werth hit the walk off. It was the best live sports moment of my career, followed by the worst in game 5.

I love what Mike Rizzo has done with this team, but all the changes this year have me a little worried/depressed. I know they are for the better though and that the Nats are still the best team in the majors. Lets do this for Beast Mode! Also, Seattle has TWO Beast Modes now, and just maybe a new NBA team, even if it should be going to Virginia Beach (which is part of my old hood).

Really I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. Let's go Nats!
