Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE

The Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves meet up tonight at Champion Stadium at ESPN's Wide World of Sports for the second time this Spring. Jordan Zimmermann makes his second Grapefruit League start at 6:05 pm EST with 22-year-old right-hander Julio Teheran on the mound for Atlanta.

Champion Stadium at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex in the Walt Disney World Resort is the site of Washington Nationals' right-hander Jordan Zimmermann's second Grapefruit League start of 2013. The 26-year-old right-hander and the Nats take on the Atlanta Braves again tonight at 6:05 pm EST. This one is only available via MLB.com's GameDay Audio via the Braves' radio broadcast. Zimmermann's first start of the Spring took place last Sunday against the Miami Marlins. In that outing the '07 2nd Round pick threw 43 pitches, 26 for strikes in 3.0 IP in which he allowed a run on two hits. After the start, Zimmermann told reporters that he was concentrating in that outing on, "... just going out there and attacking and throwing strikes."

"And I threw a few that were on the corner I thought could have gone either way," Zimmermann said, "but for the most part I was getting ground balls, getting early contact and that’s what I was trying to do."

Zimmermann, like Strasburg last night in his second start, will likely be limited to around 60 pitches tonight against the Braves, who throw 22-year-old right-hander Julio Teheran, the top pitching prospect in Atlanta's organization for four years running according to Baseball America. After going (15-3) with a 2.55 ERA, 3.06 FIP, 7.59 K/9 and 2.99 BB/9 in 25 games, 24 starts and 144.2 IP in his first year at Triple-A in 2011, Teheran struggled with the Braves' top affiliate in 2012, going (7-9) with a 5.08 ERA, 4.83 FIP, 6.66 K/9 and 2.95 BB/9 in 26 games and 131.0 innings. The SB Nation's Braves site, Talking Chop, has a real interesting look at what's happened to Teheran over the last two years, if you're interested in an explanation as to why he's struggled...

Teheran threw 2.0 scoreless in his first Grapefruit League start last weekend against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tonight, the right-hander faces a Washington Nationals' lineup that includes Bryce Harper (in center and batting third), Danny Espinosa (leading off) and Tyler Moore (in the cleanup spot as the DH).

Who's listening to the Nationals?
