Looking at the Remaining 90 Games

The Nationals have 90 games left in the season starting Friday.

The Nats have a lot of division games left and games against teams fighting for a wild card spot.

They have 9 games left against the Braves. if they want any shot in winning the division the need to take at least 6 of those 9 games.

They have 14 games left against the Mets. Besides Harvey and Wheeler they dont really have much and just as a bad as an offense so far as the Nats. So the Nats need to wake up against this team and take like 9 out of 14 from them,

They have 13 games remaining against The Phillies. It would be great if they could take 8 out of 13, A lot will depend on if the Phillies are buyers are sellers at the trade deadline.

They have 13 games remaining with the Marlins. The Marlins are by far the worst team in the league. Division winners stomp on the little guys in the division. Nats need to take 10 out of 13,

They also have 7 games remaining against the Brewers. A team with awful starting pitching and will likely not have Braun for the first series because of the nerve damage in his finger. 5 out of 7 shouldnt be asking too much for a team who still has playoff aspirations.

Oh injuries to Desmond, Span, Jordan Zimmerman, Gio, Stras, or anymore to Harper will kill this team. Desmond being hurt for any length of time would mean Rendon at short, and Lombo/Kobernus platooning.at 2nd base. Span is very important to the team as well because Bernadina and Lombo will get exposed like they have been having to start for long periods of time. I can't understate how important Span has been in CF. Bryce is a good CF with great raw tools but, is still learning the outfield in general.

These are the keys to the Nationals making the playoffs go Nats.
