What about Zimmerman at second base?

Ryan Z is back tonight, in left field? Having played the outfield, I can't see how a guy with an arthritic shoulder and cannot throw overhand at third base is going to throw from the outfield. I am sorry but you have to throw overhand or 3/4qtrs. from the outfield with some amount of power. So the outfield experiment with Ryan should be interesting to watch. Why hasn't anyone thought of using him on second base? Watch a second baseman throw and you will see him make 75% of his throws sidearm, which at last look was the only way Zman could get the ball to first with any accuracy. He would also be closer to first. He played shortstop in college and third base with Nats. He knows how to field a baseball. His only problem might be on that moving right and away from first to throw. But I would take him him any day over Marv Frandsen at second. Ask yourself, where do we play Zimmerman when Harper comes back next month. LaRouche is hitting too well to platoon and it would waste Zman's power. As far as Espinosa goes, great glove, inconsistent bat. Use him in a defensive role. If you think of Ryan as too big, tonight take a look at Philly's manager Ryan Sandberg, second base hall of famed and HR hitter. Zimmerman in the outfield?
