Nats 9-2 over Marlins: Zimmermann bounces back

Jordan Zimmermann didn't make it out of the second last time out against the Miami Marlins, but he threw seven strong innings tonight in the Washington Nationals 9-2 win in Marlins Park. With the curly-W, the Nats improved to 18-5 vs Miami in 2013-14

Nats' lineup: LaRoche sits, Moore at first vs MIA

Washington Nationals' slugger Tyler Moore is penciled in tonight's lineup, which has him playing first and batting sixth as the Nats take on the Miami Marlins in Marlins Park. Jordan Zimmermann faces the Fish for the second time this season.

Nate McLouth tweaks knee, to be reevaluated today

Now even the backups to the Washington Nationals' injured players are dealing with injuries, though Nats' skipper Matt Williams didn't seem too concerned yesterday about the fact that outfielder Nate McLouth "tweaked" his knee before Sunday's game.

The Nationals were swept in their three-game set in Turner Field, but at least Bryce Harper's picked it up at the plate. After a long weekend of losing to the Braves, Washington's in Miami tonight to take on the Marlins in the first game of three.

Nationals swept by Braves, 10-2 today in Atlanta

The Washington Nationals were swept in their three-game set this weekend in Turner Field. The Atlanta Braves got out to a 10-2 lead early this afternoon and never looked back as they beat the Nats for the fifth time in six games so far this season.
