Braves win another one-run game over Nationals

Justin Upton's soft fly to right ended up being the walk-off winner. Upton's eighth inning home run tied it up and sent it to extras. The Braves beat the Nationals 7-6 last night to take yet another one-run decision from their NL East rivals.

Only 2 of 6 Nats pitchers really got it done, but the bats kept the team in the game in spite of all the LOB.

The Nats and Atlanta Braves went back-and-forth all night in a game that was tied up at 6-6 after Justin Upton's eighth inning blast, and they needed extra innings to decide this one. It was Upton again in the 10th, who won it with a walk-off single.

Strasburg talks establishing fastball vs Marlins

The Nationals needed a strong outing from 25-year-old right-hander Stephen Strasburg and he came through with 12 Ks in 6 2/3 IP in a dominant start against the Miami Marlins as the Nats swept their three-game series with the Fish.
