Opening Day Mega Panorama!

Did you attend yesterday's Opening Day? Need to prove you were at the game to your doubting friends? Look no further.

The MLB sent out a panoramic camera to take an image of the majority of the Park, early on in yesterday's game.

Bryce Harper is on #Fire

+

When asked recently what hashtag would Harper chose to best describe his playing style he said, #Fire.

Of course it was our mission to make a parallel to something that may relate, and what we came up with was an Etsy shop that sells sport prayer candles. At only $12, you can take one home and place it in your Harper shrine.

Free couches for all!

Marlo Furniture is jumping on the Orioles and Nationals bandwagon this season and offering up a deal that some may think is too good to be true. Their offer stands that if you buy furniture from now until Monday AND the Nationals and Orioles meet in the World Series, everything you purchased is free. That's everything from the dining room set to funky wall art.

From free toppings to free Chik-Fil-A, DC teams know how to speak the best to fans' hunger (maybe hunger for Championships? See what I did there?) by offering promotions centered around scores or missed free throws. Now, home saves is added to the list that will net free food. In this case, free Chik-Fil-A for fans that attended a game that had a save. If this promotion ran last year, fans would have had the opportunity to consume 45 chicken sandwiches.

Received Today, a Senators Strasburg Jersey

+

When I was at the Harrisburg Senators game last Tuesday I saw a number of fans wearing a red Stephen Strasburg Senators jersey. It was clearly a promotional item, it had the logo of one of the local television stations on the sleeve. The morning after the game I scoured eBay, and I found several for sale. It had been given away at the June 1st game against the Trenton Thunder, and sellers were offering it for between 35 and 50 dollars. I bought one, and it arrived today. I don't know that I'll wear it, but it's definitely a neat collectible to have.
