Jose: hale and hearty?
Rule of thumb: When James Andrews gives you advice, follow it.
See!
Anyway, Vidro says he feels great---and, after dropping ten, apparently looks great, too. A common observation last season was that it looked like Vidro was playing heavy, so this is also good news.
What's this stuff about 160 games? For Vidro, it would be a career high. Honestly, I think most would be quite happy with 145-150 games and 600 or so plate appearances. But no one would object to 160 games, mind you.

In other news, the Nats agreed to minor league contracts with a boat load of rather insignificant hurlers, including Micah Bowie, a/k/a the latter day Kevin Coffman. Or maybe it was Lance Dickson.
Eh, who cares . . .

Dr. Andrews
I actually know a guy who had to go see him for a sports related injury (knee of course). While waiting to see the good doctor he was able to meet and get autographs from John Smoltz and Ric Flair. Forget NY. Forget LA. Forget Vegas. If you want to meet star athletes during the off-season, Birmingham is the place to be baby!

Yep
My friend used to do tech work in Andrew's practice. The people they spirited in and out at night for quick, unassuming procedures . . . pretty cool.
Also, Charles Barkley told him, "Hey, buddy," once. Since Sir Charles was just waking up from some knee surgery, it sounded more like "Heyyyy buddddy," though.
