LT already has a TD, and of course I'm playing against him this week.  And McFadden better get the damn ball.

Last week, the Predictor was 9-7  That puts me at 119-73 on the season, which is 62.0%. I'm hanging in there, but need some big weeks down the stretch.

Here are the picks for Week 14:

We're coming down to the wire in the Prediction Contest, and we have a clear leader pulling away from the pack.  TouchdownMonkey has lengthened his lead on the field, having another pretty good week.  As far as Week 13 goes, we had 3 players get 11 correct picks last week.  They are:

• Carolina Colt
• ctnyc
• Memphis Red Dogs

The Predictor struggled again, and it is now right at .500 (96-96).  Road teams again had a good week going 10-6, and in second place overall.

Overall, the Stampede Blue Leaders are as follows after 13 weeks:

Bill Simmons is still hanging up around the leaders, tying up a certain writer here.  He wrote a pretty good article about the success of Road Teams this season, in a gambling and on the field sense.  He's not all bad; just when he talks about the Colts.

Due to time constraints, I'll give my predictions with little explanation, and fill them in during the first round of games.  I'll also give the results from last week.

Welcome to Week 13 of the Fantasy Football Sleepers and Busts.  Everyone should be getting fairly close to the playoffs, so I'll try to give you some last minute advice before the games begin.  Here goes:

Sleepers:

• Jeff Garcia vs. NO
• Darren McFadden vs. KC
• Josh Reed vs. SF

Busts:

• Aaron Rodgers vs. CAR
• Matt Forte vs. MIN
• Randy Moss vs. PIT

The Colts are #1 in Fantasy points allowed to QB this season, and guess who's back under center?  Let's bury them early.

Last week, the Predictor was 10-6, including the Raiders winning!  I'm really going to find out what is up with it picking them every week.  That puts me at 110-66 on the season, which is 62.5%. Same percentage as last week.

Here are the picks for Week 13:

An overall good week in the Prediction Contest this week.  We did have 1 overall winner from Week 12, and it was KrouseingTiger, with 12 correct.  We also had 1 person get 11 correct, and that was ctnyc.  Rounding out the double digit picks this week, we had a whole mess of people with 10.

The Predictor got semi-back-on-track, getting 9 correct.  I'd like to keep my head above .500 each week, just like this one.

Overall, the Stampede Blue Leaders are as follows after 12 weeks:

TouchdownMonkey lengthens his lead this week, being the first to hit the century mark.  You can also see that Road Teams are all by themselves in 2nd.  I'm thinking home field advantage isn't what it used to be.  It is pretty common for a Home Team to get 3 points in a spread, for just being at home.  I'm wondering if this shouldn't come down to 2, or even 1 instead.  That would be an interesting experiment, to see if giving 2 points back to the home team, if that number comes down significantly.

We've got 1 week to go in the Stampede Blue Fantasy Football league, and only 3 of the 6 playoff spots have been accounted for.  Here's where we stand so far:

• #1 seed - Statistical Anomaly (That's my team).  I'm up a full 2 games on entire league.  Hope to keep steam rolling through the playoffs.
• #4 seed - King's Colts (KingRichard).  He has the second best record in the league, but in the wrong division.  His fantasy season has paralleled the Colts this year.  Struggling early, winning a lot lately, could end up with 2nd best record in league, as well as division.
• Division Winner - Speed Blue Militia (metal_militia).  A win gives him a first round bye, a loss may still do it, but I'm not sure. (More on that later).

Now for the fun part.  As you can see, the Peyton Division has all 4 teams at 6-6.  I'm going to attempt to run through different scenarios to find the playoff teams.  Wish me luck...

• True_Blue wins division if:
  • Win and either:
    • Blue Balled wins or
    • Score within 23 points of The Addai-Less Agenda
• The Addai-Less Agenda wins division if:
  • Win and either:
    • Lincoln Brigade wins or
    • Score 23 points more than True_Blue
• Lincoln Brigade wins division if:
  • Win and
  • Blue Balled wins and
  • Score within 58.5 points of Blue Balled
• Blue Balled wins division if:
  • Win and
  • Lincoln Brigade wins and
  • Score 58.5 points more than Lincoln Brigade

Update: I was looking at it a little closer.  Here are a couple other things:

• In the Peyton Division, it is win and you are in the Playoffs.  Not necessarily a division winner, but you are in the playoffs.
• MexicanBlue is also Win and you are in. 
  
• If MexicanBlue loses, the 5-7 teams have a chance, including BBS.  All of them should be fans of the King this week.

I'm not going to attempt to predict any other scenarios, as there are too many.  We'll just wait and see how it shakes out.  Good luck to everyone in the final week of the regular season.  Get Well Brandon Jacobs!

Welcome to Week 11 of your Fantasy Football Sleepers and Busts.  I'll review last week before going into this week's studs and duds.

Sleepers:

• Matt Ryan:  250 passing, 0 TD/1 INT, 18 rush yds = 9 pts.  The Broncos actually shut him down, although the same couldn't be said about Michael Turner.  No TDs mean a bad week for fantasy QBs.
  
• Pierre Thomas:  88 yds rush, 1 TD, 55 yds rec = 19 pts.  Big week for the Saints backup RB, as they finally won a road game.  He could have another decent week this week against GB on Monday night.
  
• Bobby Engram:  30 yards = 3 pts.  I'm done taking Seahawk players.  They aren't worth anything, especially WR.
  

Busts:

• Tony Romo: 198 yds passing, 1 TD/2 INT = 9 pts.  Romo struggled in his first game back, but did get the win, thanks to his battering-ram RB Marion Barber.  I'll take it.
  
• LaDainian Tomlinson: 57 yds rushing, 1 TD, 45 receiving = 15 pts. Tomlinson played much better this week against a very good Steeler defense.  Hopefully it doesn't carry over to this week.
  
• T.J. Houshmandzadeh: 149 yards, 1 TD = 20 pts.  I picked the wrong Bengal WR.  T.J. had a huge week.
  

My bonus pick of Jake Delhomme was not a good one.  Only 98 yds passing, 1 TD = 9 pts.  I can't believe I played him over Shaun Hill last week.  At least I still won.

So I was 2 / 7 last week, and 40/75 for the season. I need to do a better job this week.  I've been struggling.  Here are you fantasy nuggets for Week 12:

Sleepers:

• Jason Campbell vs. SEA:  Jim Zorn returns to where he was coaching last year.  I'm sure he is very familiar with what the Seahawks do, and will help his QB have a big week.  The Redskins desparately need a win, and Campbell should help them do just that.
  
• Justin Fargas vs. DEN: Darren McFadden is back healthy, so he probably won't get as many carries as he has been getting.  However, the Broncos are bad against the run, and Fargas wants to keep his job.  Expect good things from him this week.
  
• Donnie Avery vs. CHI:  The Bears have been torched through the air the past 2 weeks by the Titans and Packers.  I know the Rams are awful, but they have shown, at times, to be able to throw the ball with some consistency.  The Bears are 31st against WR this season, so there is a chance the Rams could find their passing game again this week.
  

Busts:

• Brett Favre vs. TEN: Favre hasn't thrown an INT in 3 weeks.  I think that ends this week.  As much as I want the Jets to win, I just can't see it happening.  Favre is going to take some ill-advised risks, and it will cost him.
  
• Brian Westbrook vs. BAL:  Andy Reid all but decided he didn't want to run the ball last week, as McNabb threw 58 times against a bad Bengals time.  Now they play a legitimate defense in Baltimore.  Don't expect Westbrook to do much.
  
• Roddy White vs. CAR: The Falcons got stomped by the Panthers the first time around, and I'm thinking the same will happen again.  Matt Ryan struggled, meaning White struggled.  Expect more of the same this week.
  

Bonus pick:  Jeff Garcia vs. DET. Garcia is playing one of his former teams this week, and should shred up that defense.  We're just 1 week away from 11-0 vs. 0-11.  I can't wait.

Weekly Derek Anderson "bust" pick:  Quinn got his first win on Monday night, thanks to the big leg of Phil Dawson, and Trent Edwards pulling a Peyton in the first quarter, throwing 3 INTs.  This week, he's playing with a broken finger in his throwing hand.  Let's see how this works out against the team the Colts beat last week, the Texans.

Last week, the Predictor was an awful 5-11.  I guess I was due for a bad week.  That puts me at 100-60 on the season, which is 62.5%. Still a good percentage, but want it to go up.
