The Washington Nationals were swept in their three-game set this weekend in Turner Field. The Atlanta Braves got out to a 10-2 lead early this afternoon and never looked back as they beat the Nats for the fifth time in six games so far this season.

The Atlanta Braves improved to 9-2 in the last 11 games in Nationals Park with a 6-2 win tonight over the Washington Nationals. Stephen Strasburg threw 95 pitches in 4 1/3 IP and the Braves took the first two games of the three-game weekend set.

Jordan Zimmermann took the mound in front of 42,834 fans in the Washington Nationals' home opener and threw six innings in which he gave up just one run, but the Atlanta Braves scored a run on Tyler Clippard in the eighth and held on for a 2-1 win.
