Miami Marlins' starter Jose Fernandez had a no-hit bid spoiled by Zach Walters' first MLB hit with one out in the sixth. The swinging bunt was one of just two hits the Washington Nationals had all night in a 7-0 loss to their NL East rivals.

The Washington Nationals scored two runs in the first to take a 2-0 lead, then held on as Ross Ohlendorf, Tanner Roark, Drew Storen, Tyler Clippard and Rafael Soriano held the Miami Marlins down in what ended up a 2-1 win in the nation's capital.
