Ross Detwiler, the Washington Nationals' #1 pick, 6th overall in 2007, made his Arizona Fall League debut last night for the Peoria Saguaros, throwing two scoreless innings while allowing 1 hit and 1 walk and striking out 1 Mesa Solar Sox batter to do his part in a 9-2 Saguaros' win which helped the Nationals-filled Peoria lineup to a 3-0 start in Fall League action. DC 1st base prospect Bill Rhinehart was 0 for 2 with a walk. DC infielder Ian Desmond was 1 for 3 with a walk and a K, and he's hitting .500 after three games.
