Spring Training: - Game 13 on 3/13 Game Thread: Washington Nationals @ Houston Astros. Plus: Stephen Strasburg Thread.

Washington dropped the Spring opener to Houston on Wednesday 2/25, beat the Astros that Friday and then again this past Monday, and now the fourth meeting of the Spring sees Nationals' starter Scott Olsen take the mound against the Astros' Mike Hampton in a night game in Kissimmee, Florida's Oceola County Stadium.

Olsen's (1-0) in 2 starts and 5.0 IP thus far this Spring, with 8 hits, 2 runs and 2 walks allowed, and Olsen wasn't pleased with the way he pitched last time out, telling MLB.com's Bill Ladson, in an article entitled, "Olsen not concerned about tough outing":

"'It was worse than my last start...Everything was up in the zone -- fastball and changeup. I was up in the zone during warmups. We just couldn't make adjustments at all throughout the day...'"

Stephen Strasburg vs UNLV...9:00 pm EST from San Diego's Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Here's the set-up from the San Diego Union-Tribune's College Baseball Preview:

"Aztecs ace Stephen Strasburg (3-0, 1.77 ERA) will pitch tonight's conference opener. Strasburg struck out 18 batters in his last start and for the season has 45 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings while allowing just 13 hits, four earned runs and four walks."

The Mountain West Conference.com's official preview of tonight's SDSU vs UNLV game mentions that Strasburg was named "Nationals and MWC Pitcher of the Week for a second straight time after he struck out 18 USD batters last Thursday."

Who's Watching The Nationals? Who's Following Strasburg? You Know We Will Be!!

?'s For The DC Faithful...

How much $$$ is it going to take for Washington to sign Stephen Strasburg?

Will you revolt if the Nationals can't reach an agreement with Strasburg and his agent Scott "Maximum" Boras?
