Think I'm The Only One Who Thinks There's Something Rotten In NatsTown?

Well check out this Yahoo! Sports.com article by AP writer Howard Fendrich entitled, "Little goes right for Nats, on field or in stands", in which Mr. Fendrich quotes MLB's Chief Operating Officer Bob Dupuy talking about the issues in DC:

"The Nationals had a difficult year on the field last year and got off to a tough start. The team has good young talent and everyone in baseball is convinced that as the product on the field improves, given the wonderful ballpark, fans will come out.”

Why is MLB talking about the Nationals? Does it bother you that Mr. Dupuy had a prepared answer about the Nationals' struggles?...ugh...

(ed. note - "MASN has invited several Nationals bloggers behind the scenes today for the 1:05 pm EST game against the Phillies, so in lieu of the usual GameThread, I thought I'd include the FEDERALBASEBALL.com TWITTERFEED here so that you could get updates about what's going on...You'll probably have to refresh the screen to get updates, and then once the game starts, the DC Faithful will be following along in the Comments section...")
