The Nationals vs Johan Santana...

In 6 starts and 42.0 IP against the Washington/Montreal franchise, Johan Santana is (5-1) with a 2.36 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP and a .245 BAA the Nationals/Expos, who haven't beaten the Mets' left-handed ace since 2007, when he was still plying his trade for the Twins. Santana's (4-0) against Washington as the Mets' ace, including three wins in 3 stars last season in 1 win already this year in which he held the Nationals to 1 run on 6 hits in 6.0 innings on the mound in NY. I'd say the Nationals are due...it's not like he's going to throw a complete game like Livan or anything, right? And anyway, Washington's throwing Zim(n)...

Jordan Zimmermann vs The Mets...

Jordan Zimmermann's done this already...Back on April 26, in front of 40,023 screaming Mets fans, the Nationals' 23-year-old rookie right-hander took the mound in Citi Field and beat New York, (mostly thanks to Oliver Perez, admittedly), but also because he allowed only 1 run on 6 hits in 5.1 IP, in which he walked 1 and K'd 5 before the Nationals' early '09 bullpen of Mike Hinckley, Garrett Mock and Kip Wells combined for 3.2 scoreless in an 8-1 Nationals' win.

Johan Santana vs the Nationals...

Ronnie Belliard - 4 for 23, .174 AVG, 2 RBI's, 7 K's.

Adam Dunn - 3 for 4, .750 AVG, 1 HR, 1 RBI.

Cristian Guzman - 8 for 14, .571 AVG, 1 2B.

Willie Harris - 1 for 9, .111 AVG, 1 2B.

Nick Johnson - 1 for 11, .091 AVG, 1 HR, 1 RBI.

Austin Kearns - 2 for 12, .167 AVG, 1 2B.

Luke Montz - 0 for 0, .000 AVG, 1 BB.

Josh Willingham - 2 for 8, .250 AVG, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 RBI's.

Ryan Zimmerman - 5 for 15, .333 AVG, 1 HR, 4 RBI's, 2 BB, 2 K's, .412 OBP.
