Flores? Out 3-6 Months.

Toward the end of tonight's loss to the PhilliesMASN Sideline reporter Debbi Taylor mentioned that the Washington Nationals had sent Jesus Flores back to the doctor to have his rehabbed right shoulder checked out after it once again began aggravating the 24-year-old Nationals' catcher. Shortly after the game, Washington Post writer Chico Harlan posted an article entitled, "Flores Has Torn Right Labrum, Will Miss 3-6 Months", in which he reported that Flores had in fact suffered a torn right labrum as he recovered from a stress fracture in the same shoulder. Flores, who will undergo surgery on Wednesday, is expected to miss 3-6 months while recovering, with DC GM Mike Rizzo telling the Post's Mr. Harlan, "'He should be ready for the middle of spring training, worst-case scenario.'"
