While there's been no definitive statement from the team, there are reports circulating everywhere that the Washington Nationals have called the second '09 1st Round pick Drew Storen to the majors following successful stints in Double-AA Harrisburg and Triple-AAA Syracuse. FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) sent out the following tweet within the last 10-15 minutes:
"Source: #Nationals promote RHP Drew Storen, their 2nd No. 1 pick last year behind you-know-who. Will join team in St. Louis tomorrow."
It's since been confirmed by all the Nats' beat writers, but still not by the team which will have to make a move in the bullpen to accommodate the call-up. More news when it's available after the game...
