• Rays' Left-Hander David Price, on Sirius/XM's Ripken Baseball Talking Stephen Strasburg:

David Price: "I did keep up with [the '09 Draft], I am interested in seeing [Stephen Strasburg] him make his next start. From what I've seen on ESPN, his stuff on tv looks pretty good, so I'm pretty excited for him and I'm ready to see him get up there and get his first start and I wish him well."

• DC Skipper Jim Riggleman On Matt Capps' Recent Struggles:

Jim Riggleman: "[Matt Capps] is throwing the ball very well. The ball hasn't been down quite as much as it was earlier, but then again when he got a ball down and it moved away on Berkman we didn't get the call. Each of the last games that Matt has been involved in there has been an error that let the winning run cross the plate or a call that didn't go our way so...now if he had a clean 1-2-3 inning it wouldn't be an issue, but in the ninth inning it's hard to get those three outs, and he's gotten the three outs if we'd made some plays for him. So, I'm very satisfied with the way he's throwing the ball. The results? I know none of us are satisfied with..."
