Wire Taps: Washington Nationals' GM Mike Rizzo [Points To Head] Trade Deadline Edition...

3:36 pm EST UPDATE:

@Ken_Rosenthal: "Exec on Dunn: "He's not going anywhere. Bank on it." #Nationals #WhiteSox #Rays #Tigers #MLB"

3:13 pm EST UPDATE:

"@Ken_Rosenthal: "#WhiteSox still working on Dunn. Would be Jackson-plus. Source: "This thing is far from over."

3:00 - As of 2:55pm EST the Washington Nationals have not dealt their big middle-of-the-order bat Adam Dunn, but as the 4:00 pm EST Non-Waiver Deadline approaches, ESPN.com's Buster Olney (@Buster_ESPN) is reporting on Twitter that talks are ongoing:

"Heard this: The Nationals are still talking trade with several teams on Dunn, as we get closer to the deadline."

SI.com's Jon Heyman (@SI_JonHeyman) just Tweeted that the Nats and White Sox are still talking:

"[Edwin] Jackson for Dunn is still a possibility. but Nationals want #Chisox to add another player or 2"

An unnamed "source" told FOXSports.com's Jon Morosi (@jonmorosi) within the last hour that they think Dunn stays in DC, but Mr. Morosi offered the caveat at 2:00pm EST that, "...two hours is an eternity on July 31." Mr. Morosi's colleague at FOXSports.com, Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) reported earlier that there was some non-Dunn chatter going on as well, as he wrote about the Red Sox' pursuit of a left-handed reliever:

"Source: #RedSox inquired about at least 2 LH relievers today: #Rockies' Beimel, #Nationals' Burnett. Rockies' asking price too high."
