Washington Nationals Agree To Terms With Adam LaRoche.

Within the last several minutes, MLB.com's Peter Gammons and then MLB.com's Bill Ladson both confirmed via Twitter that the Washington Nationals and free agent first baseman Adam LaRoche have agreed to terms on what Mr. Gammons (@pgammo) says is a 2-year deal for the 31-year-old former Atlanta Braves' draft pick. The Nationals reportedly offered LaRoche a two-year deal last Friday when Derrek Lee, another first baseman the Nats had pursued, agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles.

Peter Gammons - @pgammo: "Look for Adam LaRoche @ Reagan Airport for Thursday physical, 2 year deal w/ aggressive Nats.

MLB.com's Bill Ladson - @washingnats: "I have confirmed that 1b Adam LaRoche agreed to terms with the #Nats."

More news as it becomes available, but the Washington Nationals have apparently replaced Adam Dunn at first with Adam LaRoche...
