Washington Nationals' Stephen Strasburg Returns To Harrisburg Senators On Thursday.

According to the Harrisburg Senators' Terry Byrom (Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations) on the Twitter, (@hbgsensradio), "RH Stephen Strasburg is scheduled to start on Thursday for the Senators against the Portland Sea Dogs." The Washington Nationals' right-hander, the no.1 overall pick in the '09 Draft, will be making his sixth (and final?) rehab start in the Nats' system and the first this year with the Senators team the then 22-year-old starter made his professional debut pitching for last season. In his fifth rehab start on Saturday night with Triple-A Syracuse, Strasburg was perfect through 5.0 IP, but ended up giving up two hits in the sixth, one of which led to a run after he'd exited the game.

Strasburg threw 64 pitches, 47 of them strikes for the Chiefs, walked no one, recorded seven K's and got seven groundouts from the opposing team's batters. In 5 starts and 14.1 IP so far, Strasburg's given up 13 hits, nine runs, eight earned and three walks while striking out 25. He's expected to throw 70-80 pitches in his sixth start, and expected to be back in the nation's capital next week if all goes as planned. If you actually need another reason to go to Harrisburg on Thursday other than Strasburg, rumor is there will be Cowboy Monkees at Metro Bank Park
