• Nats' lefty John Lannan's allowed 14 hits, nine runs (seven earned) and three walks while recording seven K's in three games, two starts and 9.0 IP so far this Spring. The 27-year-old left-hander's name has been mentioned repeatedly in trade rumors this winter, but the injury to Chien-Ming Wang last week may have altered the Nats' plans some, though D.C. GM Mike Rizzo has said all along that while he's gotten some calls, the Nationals aren't "aggressively shopping" Lannan around the league as some reports have suggested. Lannan takes on the Atlanta Braves this afternoon, against whom he was (3-1) with a 2.97 ERA, 10 walks and 24 K's in five starts and 30.1 IP in 2011.
