• Saturday, March 24: Sarasota, FL's Ed Smith Stadium, named after the, "longtime former President (1966-1993) of the Sarasota Sports Committee who passed away on March 9, 2006 at the age of 91," according to BaseballPilgrimages.com, is the venue for this afternoon's game between the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles.

Taking the mound for the Nats, for the fifth time in Grapefruit League action, will be 28-year-old right-hander Edwin Jackson, who gave up seven hits, four runs and three walks last time out against the Detroit Tigers. Jackson's allowed 15 hits, eight runs, six earned, a home run and seven walks in 13.1 IP so far this Spring, over which he's struck out eight batters. Here's the lineup that will be backing Jackson up this afternoon (for at least the first few innings):
